Today our chauffeur will pick you up from Amman Hotel at 7.00 am for a tour of Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Upon arrival, you will begin an unforgettable trip on horseback to the Siq by foot through the narrow passage between the massive walls of rock that provides the main access to the ancient site.
Entering Petra through this chasm we reach our first glimpse of the Treasury, whose towering façade bedecked with magnificent columns was made famous in the final sequence of the popular Hollywood film /Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade/. Back to Amman Hotel.

*In Petra local English-speaking private guide is available for 2-3 hours, which covers the lower parts of Petra, afterwards you can explore by yourselves more sites as the Royal Tombs or Monastery. A horse ride from the Visitor’s Center to the Siq (800 m) is included in the entrance ticket to Petra so if you wish you can take it. Usually, you are requested to pay a tip for a man leading the horse.
