Day 1: Airport – Amman

Upon arrival at Queen Alia Airport, our chauffeur will meet you and drive you to your hotel in Amman for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Amman – Umm Qais – Ajloun – Jerash – Amman

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Umm Qais, which offers magnificent views over the Yarmouk River, the Golan Heights, and Lake Tiberias. This town was known as Gadara, one of the most brilliant ancient Greco-Roman cities of the Decapolis.

Then proceed to the mighty Crusader Castle of Ajloun. Continue through pine forests and olive groves to the fascinating Greco-Roman city of Jerash. A guide will take you on a tour through the colonnaded street, amphitheater, churches, temples, and the vast Roman Forum. Return to your hotel in Amman for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Amman City Tour – Desert Castles – Amman

After breakfast, proceed on an Amman city tour to visit the King Abdullah Mosque, the Roman Amphitheater, and the Citadel. Then continue to the Desert Castles to explore three remarkable examples of Islamic art and architecture: Azraq Fort, Qusayr Amra, and Qasr Kharaneh. Return to Amman for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Amman – Madaba – Mount Nebo – Kerak – Petra

After breakfast, depart for a journey south of Amman. Visit Madaba, home to some of the finest Byzantine mosaics in the world, including the famous 6th-century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo, the highest point in the Moabite range, which has been a center of pilgrimage since early Christian times.

Then drive through the awe-inspiring Wadi Mujib via the King’s Highway to Kerak Castle, the largest late Islamic castle in Jordan. It was initially constructed during the Crusader period and later expanded and refortified during the Ayyubid and Mamluk periods. Continue to Petra for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Petra Visit

After breakfast, visit the Red Rose City of Petra. Upon arrival, begin an unforgettable trip on horseback to the Siq, followed by a walk through the narrow passage between massive rock walls that provides the main entrance to the ancient site.

Enter Petra through this chasm until you reach your first glimpse of the Treasury, whose towering façade, adorned with magnificent columns, was made famous in the final sequence of the popular Hollywood film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Overnight stay in Petra.

Day 6: Petra – Little Petra – Wadi Rum

After breakfast, drive to Little Petra (Al-Beidha), located 8 km from Petra. The ruins of this ancient village date back around 9,000 years and, like Jericho, constitute one of the oldest archaeological sites in the Middle East. Continue to Wadi Rum, the largest and most magnificent desert in Jordan. Enjoy a 2-hour 4x4 tour in the desert, then proceed to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay under a tent beneath the beautiful starry sky.

Day 7: Wadi Rum – Aqaba

After breakfast, drive south to the Red Sea city of Aqaba. Enjoy free time at leisure. Overnight stay in Aqaba.

Day 8: Aqaba – Dead Sea – Amman

After breakfast, drive to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Enjoy swimming in its buoyant waters and experiencing the famous mineral-rich mud. Return to Amman for an overnight stay.
